Abstract

"City" piece on state representative Herb Adams, D-Portland. Adams, who represents the Parkside/West Bayside district, isn't allowed to run for re-election because of a new law limiting legislators to four consecutive terms. Adams has sued to have the term limits laws declared unconstitutional, but even if the courts decide in his favor, they are unlikely to do so in time for his name to appear on the November ballot.
