Abstract

A satirical article on Peaks Island,. The author looks at the eccentricities of islanders and island living and concludes that the island should be hauled 40 miles farther out to sea. With mentions of Jones Landing, the deer population problem, the sewage treatment plant, local politics, and riding the ferry to "The Rock."
