Abstract

The Juvenile Corrections Task Force, consisting of parents, advocacy groups, and representatives from the state departments of Corrections, Human Services, Education and Mental Health and Retardation, has recommended that the juvenile corrections system remain under control of the state Department of Corrections until the newly formed Department of Children and Families has acquired one year of experience.
