Abstract

A workshop sponsored by the Maine chapter of the International Association of Arson Investigators on Saturday was attended by around 100 firefighters and police officers. Much of the discussion centered on fires set by children, which in Maine are up 50 or 60 percent from several years ago. For every 100 children who die in fires set by children, 85 are the kids who set them.
