Abstract

About 400 students in grades five through eight at Yarmouth's Frank H Harrison Middle School will engage in an interdisciplinary quest through February to find the coldest place in town -- The students will learn such things as how to record data; how to plot it on a graph; how to find the mean, median and mode of a set of numbers; and how to build a computer database The project is the idea of -- Robert Maurais, an industrial arts teacher
