Abstract

Robert McKenna of Sanford is in the process of filing an application with the Maine Emergency Medical Service in Augusta to organize a new air ambulance service. If the application is approved, Aero Medical Group would provide a similar service as Airmed Skycare Inc., which lost its license following the crash of an Airmed helicopter in November 1993. McKenna managed and dispatched crews for Airmed, and said the new company would employ around 25 individuals who previously worked for Airmed. Details.
