Abstract

Obituary of Olof P. Pierson, 87, of Caribou, the inventor of frozen french fries, which he developed in the mid-1940s in the H. C. Baxter Co. laboratory in Hartland. The first french fries were sold through the Bird's Eye Co. plant in Caribou in 1947.
