Abstract

Maine Green Party coordinator Jonathan Carter last week denounced the state's mandatory automobile emissions testing program, which he had endorsed during last fall's gubernatorial campaign. Trina Wallace, the party's treasurer, resigned her position, citing cultism and control among the party's leaders and her objections to the acceptance of a large financial contribution for the hiring of a specific person to staff the party's office.
