Description
Article caption:
"There’s No Reluctance Here.
A troop of young students helps Mrs. Ann E. Bauer move books from her car to the new library in Marada F. Adams School (48 Moody Street). The youngsters, who show no reluctance at all to entering the new school building, have been showing up ready to help for the last few days as the volumes are moved into the new branch of the Portland Public Library there. Mrs. Bauer, who will be librarian when the branch opens Tuesday, holds the door open."
The Adams School closed in 2006, replaced with the East End Elementary School that year.
