Abstract

Describes performance by Afro-Colombian rap group Kombilesa Mi in Portland on July 17^th, 2022. The group performs in a mixture of Spanish and Palenquero, the traditional language of San Basilio de Palenque. The band plays traditional instruments such as the tambor alegre, tatura, malimboura, and llamador. The free, outdoors concert was sponsored by SPACE Gallery.
