Abstract
Mauren and Lorena Adaime are a mother-daughter team from Columbia. They have opened a restaurant in Cape Elizabeth called Tostones Cafe, which features dishes from their original home in the Columbian Amazon. Both women studied business administration and had some restaurant experience behind them before they decided to open their own place. Their menu showcases plantains, and also serve dishes characteristic of other countries, including Venezuela and Peru.
