Abstract
Excerpt of an interview that Jean Hakuzimana conducted with Andy O'Brien on WMPG. They discuss the presence of hate groups in Maine and how to respond to them. O'Brien worries that laws to combat these groups could be used also against peaceful protestors and anti-racist protestors. He talks about grassroots organizing, relationship building, and facilitating cultural exchanges as better approaches. O'Brien discusses the history of immigration and stresses the importance of everyone, especially white people, standing up to fascist groups and making it known that they are not wanted.
