Abstract
Describes the efforts of Capital Area New Mainers Project (CANMP) to welcome newly arrived Afghan refugees to the Augusta area. Formed in 2017, CANMP is a community initiative that provides supports for Augusta’s immigrant community. CANMP was co-founded by Chris Myers-Asch, Sarah Shed, Hasan Alkhafaji, and Ahmed Al-Abbas.
