Abstract

Article describing newly opened Rwanda Bean Coffee, with locations in Portland and South Portland. Rwanda Bean is co-owned by Mike Mwenedata, who was born in Rwanda and arrived in Maine in 2010, and Nick Mazuroski. The company sources high-quality beans directly from a co-op in Rwanda and gives 50% of profits back to farmers in Rwanda. The grand opening and ribbon-cutting is scheduled for June 30th, 2018, from 9 to 10 am.
