An account of the plight of Afghans left behind when the U. S. withdrew from Afghanistan in 2021. Discusses how attempts to rescue Afghans vulnerable to retaliation by the Taliban through applications for "Humanitarian Parole" and emergency entry into the United States have been slowed, blocked, and denied by the USCIS.
