A discussion of efforts by Portland Public Schools Superintendent Xavier Botana to address inequities in the school system. Discusses comments made by Portland students on social media alleging racist and otherwise inappropriate conduct by school staff. Discusses the school system's response to those allegations, as well as ongoing efforts to bring educators of color to Portland.
