Frank Pote is founder and president of the United States Fan Association, a Portland-based business that will use the power of the fans in attempting to create positive change in organized sports. The USFA membership club offers for $19.95 a decal, hat, quarterly newsletter and discount coupons. The company also has a team uniform and equipment marketing program aimed at school- or town-sponsored organized sports nationwide, and three Maine schools have already opted for corporate sponsorship.
