Abstract
Michael Levine and Elizabeth Buchsbaum, husband and wife and both 29, opened the Oak Street Theatre 18 months ago, and brought in the Vintage Repertory Company and the American Renaissance Theater as resident companies. The two created Oak Street Productions, which serves as a base for local productions, and recently formed Acorn Productions, a mini-company that will produce three shows this season. Levine and Buchsbaum have decided to go nonprofit, which should make more grant money available to Oak Street. Details.
