Abstract

"Edge" piece on the bingo scene in Greater Portland. Yankee Bingo in Portland, Exit 8 Bingo in Westbrook and John Roberts Road Bingo in South Portland hold games every night, and some fanatics like Pat Libby are always in attendance. Wednesday night games at Yankee Bingo benefit Deering High School sports programs, and sometimes pull in as much as $4,000 after expenses.
