Abstract

"Politics & Other Mistakes" piece on the Maine Green Party. Gerald Talbot of Portland, the only African American ever elected to the Maine Legislature, recently left the Democratic Party to become a Green party member. Green Party member John Rensenbrink missed the March 15 deadline for getting his name on the ballot as the party's candidate for U.S. Senate, and has announced that he will run as an independent.
