Abstract

"Edge" piece on Esduardo Mariscal, a native of Mexico who originally came to Maine for a temporary teaching position at Bates College. Mariscal, a choreographer, became a guest artist at the University of Southern Maine and began teaching at Ram Island and Casco Bay Movers dance studios. He formed the Esduardo Mariscal Dance Theater, and the company will perform an original work at this year's Dance Portland celebration.
