Abstract

"Edge" piece on Portland City Hall's Merrill Auditorium. The 1,900-seat facility, formerly known as City Hall Auditorium, has just undergone a $9 million renovation. The auditorium will be the only medium-sized venue in Portland designed expressly for presenting music, dance and theater, and will occupy an importland niche between the clubs and the Cumberland County Civic Center.
