Abstract

"City" piece on Portland Mayor George Campbell. Campbell has worked as a consultant on modernization projects for Bath Iron Works and the owners of Mack Point in Searsport. Both projects could have an impact on the Portland waterfront, and some observers believe Campbell's work represents a conflict of interest. Campbell said he intends to continue brokering economic development deals in municipalites other than Portland. Details.
