Abstract

"Edge" piece on the Harley-Davidson Owners Group, which holds a HOG rally in Portland today through Saturday. The event is expected to attract 5,00 enthusiasts and as many as 2,000 motorcycles. The Weekend Behind the Barn, an annual event in Saco for bikers, last weekend attracted more than 3,700 bikers and their families. The two events demostrate the schism between Harley-Davidson riders and the more hard-core bikers.
