Abstract

"Edge" piece on the State Theatre in Portland. The State will soon host at least one show, but local promoters are wary of scheduling shows in the long-vacant hall. Nick and Lola Kampf of Falmouth, owners of the theater, say other promoters have expressed interest in renting the hall for shows. Maine Arts has agreed to rent the State for its upcoming New Year's Portland celebration.
