Abstract

"City" piece on Green Spring, a managed-care company in Portland that oversees mental health and substance abuse care. A number of therapists are resigning from Green Spring because the company is demanding more intimate details about their patients. Dr. David Marks of Green Spring said the new patient information forms are only seen by the company's clinicians. A Portland psychologist who recently dropped out of Green Spring said the forms demean both patients and providers.
