Abstract

"Edge" piece on Scott Brown, a native of South Portland, who recently opened the Longfellow String Band Studio in a second-floor space on top of Treemendous Fine Woodworking on Longfellow Square in Portland. The enterprise has grown into a music school for adults and kids of different skill levels. Brown has taught music for years at island schools.
