Abstract
"City" piece about the sale of the Portland Press Herald and other Guy Gannett Communications holdings, including the Maine Sunday Telegram and WGME-TV. Some Press Herald reporters worry that new owners will emphasize profits at the expense of good journalism. Al Diamon researched a decade of quotes from the Gannetts and their employees regarding the possibility of selling their business.
