Abstract
"Sportland" piece on a summer league for ultimate frisbee, which was started by Alex Pozzy, 30, and now has about 240 people playing. Pozzy also helped to found the Red Tide club team in Portland in 1988, which goes on the road each fall and winter. The biggest ultimate bash in Maine each year is The Clambake, which is held at Bowdoin College in the fall and draws about 36 teams from the Northeast and Canada. It is considered one of the top tournaments in the country.
