Abstract

Profile of Manny Verzosa, a Portland native, who was a promising musician and songwriter on the verge of going national when he died in an accident in 1993. Verzosa's brother, Andy, has worked to compile a CD of his songs, soon to be released as "Manny Verzosa Singing His Own Works." With a related preview of "The Music of Manny Verzosa," at the First Parish Church, on August 30. The proceeds of the concert will go toward producing the CD.
