Abstract
"City" piece on a controversial Portland City Council decision not to block a U.S. Postal Service mail distribution center proposed for 50 acres of undeveloped land off Rand Road. The 340,000-square-foot building, which will be 75 feet closer to residences in the neighborhood than originally thought, is described as the second largest building in the state of Maine.
