Abstract
"City" piece on a recent draft report to city officials submitted by the consulting firm of Brailsford & Dunlavey of Washington, D.C., which proposes that the Cumberland County Civic Center be sold for $5 million to help finance a new sports arena. Jerre Bryant, chair of the Civic Center's long-range planning committee, said the proposal is inappropriate and should not have been included in the report. And Angus Mountain, chairman of the Civic Center trustee board, said the facility isn't for sale.
