Abstract

"City" piece on the price of security at the Cumberland County Courthouse, where temporary security workers hired by Manpower Temporary Services, will replace security personnel employed by the Cumberland County Sheriff's Department as of Aug. 2. Sheriff Mark Dion requested a budget increase so he could upgrade overall security at the courthouse. But his request was denied and as of July 31, the sheriff's office will no longer provide court security.
