Abstract
"City" piece on the Catholic Radio Network (CRN), which is scheduled to hit Portland's airwaves, possibly as soon as September, with a mix of programming designed to spread religion, make money and promote a political viewpoint. CRN is financed by a group of conservative Catholic businessmen, including Thomas Moneghan, former owner of Domino's Pizza. The broadcast group recently bought three radio stations in Maine, including WLLB-AM and WLOB-FM in Rumford and WLOB-AM in Portland.
