Abstract
"Edge" piece about the future of vinal recordings whose sales have slumped but not died and about collectors Jeff Dice, 36, of Portland, who has about 5,000 vinal albums neatly stored in milk crates in his tiny basement apartment, and 42-year-old Phil King of South Portland, who started collecting at age 12 and now has about 10,000 albums. Laree Love, 28, of Portland has almost 4,000 records and his friend Casey Keenan, 20, has about 1,000. Guy Seaver, a buyer for Bull Moose records says the interest in vinal is bubbling below the surface, getting ready to come back a bit.
