Abstract

Former attorney Thomas Audet of Portland was sentenced to 4 1/2 years in prison after he admitted stealing $95,000 from clients. Audet must also make restitution to his victims, who included an elderly client bilked out of part of the settlement received after his wife died from injuries received in an automobile accident.
