Abstract

"Edge" piece on Eleanor Whitney of Pownal and Erek Gaines of Falmouth, two teenagers who have overcome the lack of a club scene for youth in the Greater Portland area by booking shows in their homes. Whitney and Gaines are booking bands from across the nation for chem-free performances that draw as many as 50 teenagers who pay $5 each. All proceeds go to the performers.
