Abstract

Preview of "Virtual Shooter," an exhibition by New York artist and college professor Kathleen Ruiz comprised of photographs, prints and an interactive computer program, which is being presented at the University of Southern Maine (USM) Art Gallery in Gorham through May 5, and "Virtual Violence: Does Our Recreation Re-create Us?" a panel discussion featuring Ruiz and Portland police chief Michael Chitwood, which is being presented at Luther Bonney Auditorium on USM's Portland campus March 14.
