Abstract

"Portland Prowler" piece on Diggers, a new bar and dance club in Portland's Old Port, located in the space formerly occupied by the Better End. Diggers is owned by former Metropolis owner Tom Manning, a corporate officer in a company called the International Business Group (IBG). Manning also holds the liquor licenses for the Pavilion and the Iguana, two Portland dance clubs, and the Mercury, a Portland cocktail bar.
