Abstract

Preview of a talk by Patricia Deegan of Byfield, Mass., a former patient of a mental hospital in that state, who will speak about the search for the burial sites of hundreds of patients at the Augusta Mental Health Institute. Deegan, who has been working with groups in 16 states engaged in similar searches, will speak at the University of Southern Maine's Luther Bonney Auditorium Oct. 10.
