"Politics and Other Mistakes" piece on Jim Libby of Buxton, who is seeking the Republican gubernatorial nomination, and J. Fred Staples of Biddeford, who has changed his mind about challenging U.S. represenative Tom Allen, D-Maine, and then U.S. senator Susan Collins, R-Maine, and now plans to run for the state Senate seat currently held by Democrat Lloyd LaFountain of Biddeford.
