Abstract

"City" piece on an initiative led by Susan Webster of Portland to start an alternative school for the city's Munjoy Hill neighborhood. Webster's 8-year-old now attends the private Hill School on Munjoy Hill, which will close at the end of this school year. Webster said she likes Hill's educational model, and plans to replicate it with the proposed schools, which does not yet have a name or location.
