Abstract

"City" piece on two Portland ordinances being proposed by the city council. The first would allow vendors to set up shop on the waterfront side of Commercial Street, which was previously prohibited. The second would lessen the space vendors must set up from each other, from 65 feet to 35 feet, and eliminate the 65-foot distance vendors must keep from restaurants or other businesses that sell food.
