Abstract

Editorial on Portland Stage Company Artistic Director Greg Leaming's attitude toward an exhibit by Bowdoinham artist Carlo Pittore that was supposed to hang in the PSC lobby from January 8 to 15, and a satirical article that ran in the January 12, 1995, Casco Bay Weekly. With photographs of the seven Pittore paintings that Leaming found offensive.
