Abstract
State representative Sam DiPietro, owner of a market in South Portland, has introduced legislation that would increase the mark up on liquor sold by agency stores to 20 percent, from the current eight percent. DiPietro, whose market is an agency store, doesn't feel his submitting the bill represents a conflict of interest, but said he wouldn't vote on the measure.
