Abstract

The city of Portland bought out the Dunkin' Donuts at the corner of Congress and High streets nearly 14 years ago. After the one-story building was razed, Congress Square Plaza was constructed, but the plaza has never really become the magnet for human activity that was envisioned. Maine Arts has scheduled a summerlong itinerary of events in the plaza in order to turn Congress Square Plaza into the place to be.
