Abstract

"Politics & Other Mistakes" piece on the November 2 vote to repeal the anti-discrimination ordinance in Lewiston. Equal Protection Lewiston, the group which fought repeal of the ordinance, spent the first months after their opponents had brought the matter to referendum in an ideological struggle within their own group, wasting precious time and contributing to the eventual vote to repeal.
