Abstract
"Newsreal" piece reporting that a study by the Preble Street Mental Health Consumer Advocacy Project says that more than 75 percent of people who stay in homeless shelters for more than a month are mentally ill. The report, "My Home is a Cot," was funded by a $19,000 grant from the Maine Initiatives Foundation, and details how Maine's mental health system mistreats people with mental disabilities.
