Editorial on the Toxic Release Inventory data for 1993, which was released in March. The top polluters with operations in Cumberland County include S.D. Warren (which released 970,940 pounds of toxics), Nichols Portland (90,108 pounds), Bath Iron Works (42,860 pounds) and National Semiconductor (41,866 pounds).
