Abstract

Youth and Family Outreach at the Beacon Teen Center and the YWCA Street Program are joining together for the Beacon Street Center, a resource center offering teenagers job and educational training and referrals to health care providers. Planners still need approval for funding, and need the go-ahead from the boards of directors of nonprofits involved in the project. An official announcement is expected later this month, and the center could be open by January.
